Jeffrey A. Hirsch: Shrugging off any concerns of a serious slowdown in China, Dr. Copper has been on a tear since late last year. As is noted in our Commodity Trader’s Almanac, and as you can see in the chart below, copper formed a seasonal low from October to December as it usually does. Copper is now rallying on positive construction data in the U.S. and less than dire economic developments in China.
