Stocks to Watch: Zumiez, Boston Beer and More

Some stocks to watch this morning, including trendy apparel company Zumiez and Beazer Homes.

Pegasystems Inc.’s first-quarter profit jumped 23% as the software company reported revenue growth across all segments, led by maintenance, although gross margins narrowed. Still, results easily topped analysts’ expectations, sending shares up 8.8% to $40 in after-hours trading.

Shares in Mattson Technology Inc. and FNB Corp. fell in after-hours trading after they announced plans to launch separate stock offerings. Mattson’s stock dropped 7.7% to $2.05, while FNB’s dropped 3.1% to $11.06.

Zumiez Inc. on Tuesday said Chief Financial Officer Trevor Lang has resigned, effective June 1, in order to move back to Atlanta, leaving a company that has been on a hot streak for over year. The company said a search for Lang’s successor is under way. The stock was down 1.9% at $28.47 after hours.
