LinkedIn: Now Even More Expensive to Short


Shorts are going in deeper on LinkedIn, taking more positions and paying a more princely rate to do so.

There were 1.67 million LinkedIn shares lent out as of Wednesday, about 21% of the float, data from Sungard Astec Analytics show. In addition, the already very costly borrowing rate went higher, with an average wholesale borrowing rate of 96.5%…
