KKD, LNG, OPXT, RPTP Among Charts to Watch

It was a rough day on Wall Street on Monday, but many of the stocks we follow acted well. The biotech medical related stocks appear right now to be leading the market so we’ll take a look at some of those.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Inc. (KKD) had a big day on Monday, up 1.65, or 26%, on 13.6 million shares. It closed right at the December high at 8.05. A break through that and you could see 9.50 on this one. That’s the next target on Krispy Kreme.

Cheniere Energy, Inc. (LNG) had two consecutive days in a row on huge volume after big news from the government for approval on the first exports of large quantities of natural gas through the Gulf of Mexico. This stock has gone from 7.50 to 12.81 in two sessions. On Monday it was up 1.72, or 17%, on nearly 22 million shares. That’s the heaviest volume ever for this stock. It has the potential to run up to the top of the channel up towards the 15 1/2 – 16 zone short-term.

Opnext, Inc. (OPXT) Raptor popped on Friday and followed through nicely on Monday, up 26 cents to 2.86, or another 10%, on 4.96 million shares. It went through the lateral price zone on Monday and the next target is 3.25, followed by 4.25.

Raptor Pharmaceuticals Corp. (RPTP) had an explosive surge on Monday, which took it out across a key, one-year base pattern. It was up 91 cents to 4.90, or 22.8%, on 2.5 million shares. Look for a move that takes it up toward the 5 3/4, maybe 6 1/2 zone short-term, secondary target possibly up around the 7 3/4 range.
